Day 3 Portreath to Camelford

I have tried to find the route on the list from Ishbell (B3300, B3277, B3274, B3266, ncr 32, ncr 3) and whilst I think the B3300 part and the later part NCR 32/3 is right, I can't work out what was intended with B3277/B3274/B3266 - I can't even find the B3274!

Accommodation: Culloden Farm House, 18 Victoria Road, Camelford PL32 9XA 01840 211128
It's on the main road, left from where we emerge on A39, on the left.

  1. We hadn't got an absolute route from what I can remember. We were trying to follow from various different books and the road map with a view to getting the detail later. We looked at getting approximate distances so we were doing about 50 miles. You've done amzingly but this is going to be a day of climbing. Having said that the gradients aren't as bad as some on day one!!

  2. There are some 10% gradients on this route - ouch. Agreed on Day 1, but that's no distance... We could look at alternatives if this is a bit much.

  3. And of course we're planning to slack off at Northam shortly after! Do you think it's worth considering a day off a week? Even the TdF are allowed that, although they are doing 25 mph most of the time.
